Abstract : Modification of quantum theory is motivated from various theoretical/phenomenological considerations. Typically such modifications are tuned such that they survive experimental scrutiny in labs. However, cosmology provides another arena to study and constraint the parameters of such distortions. We will discuss certain modified quantum theories and constraints from considering several cosmological scenarios like evolution of CMBR, expansion history or inflation in the early universe.
