The aim of the survey is to generate fainter standard stars in the 30 arcmin strip of the zenith sky. This data can be used for a wide variety of astronomical topics as well as technical characterization of telescope and instruments. This limited zenith sky survey is being done at broad-band VRI filters using 1k x 1k CCD mounted with the 104-cm telescope, the work involves observation-calibration of the photometric images, classification of objects (point source and extended source), the sensitivity determination of zenith sky and preparation of a unique standard catalog. In this contribution, we describe strategy for this survey. |
