Abstract : Compact binary systems (NS-BH and BBH) with at least one non-zero spin undergoes precession if the spin S is not aligned with the orbital angular momentum L. Precession results in the modulation of the emitted gravitational waveform which can be expressed in terms of a linear superposition of harmonics. Detection of individual harmonics from the advanced interferometric data would carry crucial astrophysical information about the precessing system. Using the fractional SNR contribution in various harmonics, we address an inverse problem of probing the astrophysical mass-spin parameters of the binary. The study is carried out for the SpinTaylorF2; a single spin precessing waveform for NS-BH systems.
