Abstract : With a brief introduction to Gaia DR2, we study the binary cluster $h$ + $\chi$ Persei cluster (NGC 869/NGC 884) in the light of the new 6D data available from Gaia DR2 to make a deeper photometric and kinematic analysis of this binary pair. We do a photometric study of these clusters and the luminosity and mass functions are deduced. We find that the total mass of the pair is about 1475 $M_{\odot}$ and 995 $M_{\odot}$ with mass-luminosity relation of second order polynomial. The clusters lie in the Galactic plane and about 9.458 $\pm$ 0.0097 $\&$ 9.488 $\pm$ 0.0097 kpc from the Galactic center. According to internal movements of members and based on our estimated total mass $M_{C}$ in Solar units, we find the dynamical and evolutionary times, like crossing and relaxation ones, and conclude that this binary is dynamically relaxed. With Gaia DR2, we study their kinematical structure, e.g. vertex with AD-diagram method gives $(A_{conv}, D_{conv}) = (-134^{\textrm{o}}.290 \pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.090, -68^{\textrm{o}}.424 \pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.121 $; NGC 869) $\&$ $(-126^{\textrm{o}}.774 \pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.090, -72^{\textrm{o}}.859 \pm 0^{\textrm{o}}.117 $; NGC 884), space components $(U, V, W)$ and dispersion $(\sigma_{1}, \sigma_{2}, \sigma_{3})$ velocities (km s$^{-1}$), center of the clusters (pc), projected distances (kpc), Solar elements ($S_{\odot}$, $l_A$, $b_A$) and their structure in 3-D. Finally, for our obtained numerical values and compared with others, we have use our results to confirm their binary nature.
