Abstract : Differential Rotation in the Sun has been a subject of fiery interest owing to its connection to the Solar Dynamo and Solar cycle models. Although the photospheric and internal differential rotation profile of the Sun is fairly understood, the rotation of the Solar atmosphere above the photosphere is mostly debated due to the contrasting results in various studies. The availability of multi-wavelength data from SDO/AIA, which probes the different heights of the solar atmosphere, provides us with an opportunity to take a step in this direction. Therefore, in this work, we developed a new method based on image processing to measure the rotation profile of the solar atmosphere using the high-resolution SDO/AIA multi-wavelength data for 2010-22. Our preliminary results suggest increased equatorial rotation rate with increasing height (temperature) and rigidity (less differential) in higher layers. Furthermore, we also notice a small hemispheric asymmetry in the rotational profile of the same.
