Abstract : Observations of hot coronal loops have revealed the presence of compressive plasma oscillations. These oscillations are generated by a small flare pulse near one of the footpoints of the coronal loops, causing the plasma to bounce between the two footpoints, with the amplitude decaying over time. While these flares at the footpoints serve as triggers for these oscillations, the relationship between the properties of the flares and the generation of sloshing oscillations remains unclear. We present a series of observations utilising the data from the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) onboard the Solar Dynamic Observatory (SDO). Our findings indicate that sloshing oscillations occur three times within the same coronal loop over a span of approximately 13 hours. However, two other flare pulses fail to generate these oscillations and instead only induce flows within the loop. Further analysis of the duration of the flare pulses reveals that flows are generated when the flare lasts longer compared to the flares associated with sloshing oscillations in the same loop. This observation sheds light on the relationship between the generation of sloshing oscillations and the properties of the flares.
