Abstract : | In this study, we have used GHATS to perform temporal analysis on the several NuSTAR observations of GX 339-4 during 2021 outburst. The verified dates of the 2021 outburst (MJD 59250-59500) have been determined using the MAXI on-demand process. Though the archived observations from NuSTAR are not evenly distributed over the whole period of the outburst, the observations used in this study are optimally chosen to analyze the evolution of the QPOs during the outburst. GHATS was used to extract PSD from the event files and to produce PHA file and then XSPEC was used determine the QPO frequencies and amplitudes by finding the best fit with several Lorentzian models combined with power-law. An attempt has also been made to correlate the variability in QPO frequency and amplitude to that in the X-Ray flux. |
