Abstract : We present broadband X-ray timing analysis of the galactic X-ray transients MAXI J1348–630 and Swift J1658.2–4242 using nearly simultaneous NICER and AstroSat observations in the hard and intermediate states. The power density spectrum was extracted for both sources from NICER and AstroSat LAXPC. In case of Swift J1658.2–4242, the Quasi-periodic oscillation (QPO) was detected at ~1.4 Hz from the NICER observation. In the AstroSat observation, we found a variable QPO at ~1.50 Hz. A QPO was detected at 0.9 Hz for MAXI J1348–630 from NICER and AstroSat. The broadband (0.5-80 keV) energy-dependent fractional rms and time lag was measured at different fourier frequencies such as 0.1 Hz, 1.0 Hz and 10.0 Hz as well as at QPO freqencies. We attempted to model the energy-dependent variability properties such as fractional rms and time lag using a simple spectro-timing model with variation in inner disk temperature, heating rate and fractional scattering with time delays. The broadband energy-dependent variability properties were explained by the model. We will discuss the results and implication of this study in the poster presentation.
