Abstract : About 70% of spiral galaxies are barred. A typical structure in barred galaxies is the BP/X bulge, resulting from the vertical thickening of the bar during disk evolution. There have been several studies on how these structures form in isolated galaxies. The effect of the cosmological environment on the BP/X bulges still requires a detailed study. In this work, we use state-of-art magnetohydrodynamical simulation TNG50 and identify barred galaxies with or without BP/X bulge at z=0 snapshot using a combination of Fourier decomposition and image processing techniques. Then, we trace back as far as z=4, when these galaxies did not have a bar and monitor their evolution to understand the underlying properties/environment of the galaxy, which decide whether the bar will form a BP/X structure or not.
