Abstract : This study presents imaging and spectral analysis of Chandra 20 ks data on the cool core cluster Abell 2566 at a redshift of z = 0.08247. The imaging analysis reveals an arc-shaped spiral pattern in the surface brightness distribution on the southwest of X-ray peak of the cluster. These spiral structures are likely formed due to the gas sloshing caused by minor merger. Spectral analysis of the X-ray photons extracted in sectorial arcs exhibited significant temperature jump along the north-west and south-east directions at 53 arcseconds (77.38 kpc) and 28.5 arcseconds (41.61 kpc), respectively, while pressure at these discontinuities remained almost continuous. This clearly provides evidences of the sloshing cold fronts in the cluster. The findings from this study provide interesting case enabling us to understand the dynamic processes operative in the core of the cluster Abell 2566 .
