Abstract : The recent discoveries of cyano derivatives of naphthalene, using rotational spectroscopy, provide valuable insights into the diversity of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the interstellar medium. Interstellar PAHs with impurities or modifications can exhibit polar characteristics, making them suitable for detection and study through rotational spectroscopy. PAHs with alcohol and ketone functional groups have also been observed in laboratory experiments. The energetic radiation in the ISM, combined with the presence of water ice and PAHs, can facilitate the formation of these oxygen-containing PAH species and the substitution of PAHs in oxygen leads to the polar characteristics in the PAHs and therefore oxygen-containing PAHs can be studied through rotational spectroscopy. In this work, we have reported the rotational spectroscopy of oxygen-substituted PAHs. The accurate theoretical data is provided at different temperatures to facilitate the searches of the considered molecules in different interstellar environments.
