| Abstract : | The Astronomy and Astrophysics group as IISER-Mohali is very dynamic and diverse, covering areas of Cosmology, General Relativity (Classical and Quantum gravity aspects), Optical and UV Astronomy to High Energy Astrophysics (using semi-analytic methods, observations, and simulations). We are actively involved in teaching physics and astrophysics at undergraduate, integrated PhD and graduate courses. In addition, we have been successfully offering Astronomy Minor specialisation to students who have Physics as their Major subject. The group is also involved in outreach programs like lectures and star parties. In this poster, we showcase various astronomy and astrophysics related activities in IISER Mohali. We summarise research work by the group members and teaching and outreach that we have been involved in. |
