Abstract : We present detailed analysis of supernova SN 2021mxx in the galaxy UGC11380. Our observations covered evolution of this supernova from -2.4 to +115 days with respect to the epoch of peak brightness in B band. SN 2021mxx reached its maximum brightness in the B band, with an apparent magnitude of 16.91 ± 0.03 mag on JD 2459363. The peak absolute B band magnitude and peak quasi-bolometric luminosity of this supernova are estimated as -16.70 ± 0.2 mag and log L = 42.30 +/- 0.06 erg/sec, respectively. Though this supernova was initially classified as Type Ia, the combined photometric and spectroscopic analyses suggest that SN 2021mxx exhibits characteristics typical of a normal Type-Ic supernova.
