There is a JRF position in planetary science in Max Planck project at NISER.
The work is mainly Dawn Ceres hyperspectral data processing and calibration and then data analysis. I am preferring candidates with good programming skills and an interest to explore basic spectroscopic/physical chemistry/remote sensing areas. The advt. is attached (the deadline is 18th August and the online interview is on 22nd August). The initial offer is made for 6 months but extendable after review (the project is up to 2026). Direct PhD enrolment is not possible, but highly recommend to enroll for Ph.D. through NISER's formal Ph.D. call/interview. Since the project is with Max Planck Institute for Solar System Science in Goettingen/Germany and with others from USA and Canada, the opportunity for foreign visits for collaboration/conference almost every year is there.
