The NSM GPU Hackathon, a multi-day event designed to help teams of developers accelerate their own codes on GPUs using a programming model, or machine learning framework of their choice, will be held in September 2022. Astronomy & Astrophysics is one of the major themes of this year's event.

This time, the event this year is a hybrid event. Day 1 of the Hackathon will be done online while on Day 2-4 the teams will be present onsite and hosted by IIT Bombay.

Day 0 - Team/Mentor Meeting: September 5, 2022 from 1pm - 3pm IST (Virtual)

1:00 PM - 1:25 PM: Welcome & online tools overview
1:25 PM - 1:50 PM: Cluster Introductions and Overview
1:50 PM - 3:00 PM: Team meet with their Mentors to discuss initial plan for the Hackathon

Day 1: September 6, 2022 from 9am - 5pm IST (Virtual)

09:00 AM - 09:30 AM: Welcome & Mentor Introduction
09:30 AM - 10:30 AM: 1st team introduction presentations (3-min per team)
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Networking Hour
11:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Lunch Break
12:00 PM - 05:00 PM: Teams and Mentors work in breakout rooms

Day 2-3: September 12-13, 2022 from 9am - 5pm IST (In-person for teams)

09:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Daily SCRUMs. Teams present for 4 mins highlight daily progress.
10:00 AM - 05:00 PM:Teams work on codes with mentors

Day 4: September 14, 2022 from 9am - 5pm IST (In-person for teams)

09:00 AM - 03:00 PM: Teams work on codes with mentors
03:00 PM - 05:00 PM: Final team presentations (7 mins per team)
