Evening appearance of Venus in 2023
Venus is now shining brilliantly above the western horizon soon after sunset. Drawn below are the positions of Venus above the western horizon about 30 minutes after the local sunset. These pictures are made for about 20° latitudes. For those located north or south of 20 lat. the curve will be slightly tilted towards left or right respectively.
