For this position, the nature of work is mainly satellite data/image (hyperspectral image) processing and calibration, and then analysis of the surface composition/mineralogy and also trying to model the physico-chemical and geologic conditions of the asteroid ceres.

QUALIFICATION: MSc Physics/Geology/Geophysics with NET/GATE/JEST
DESIRABLE: Python programming; Knowledge in Spectroscopy/Physical-chemistry/Mineralogy/Geochemistry
FELLOWSHIP: ₹31,000/- pm plus HRA (as per rules)
