We are pursuing multi-wavelength studies of young star clusters associated with Hii regions to understand the star formation scenario. The young stellar objects (YSOs) in these regions were identified using the near/ mid-infrared colours, slitless spectroscopy and X-ray observations. The optical colour-magnitude diagram of the YSOs indicates that the majority of these objects have ages between 1 Myr to 5 Myr, indicating a non-coeval star formation in the clusters. There is evidence for triggered star formation at the periphery of cluster regions.
