Abstract

Since 1997 the Indian Institute of Astrophysics is operating a low frequency (≈ 30-120 MHz) radioheliograph at the Gauribidanur radio observatory, about 100 km north of Bangalore, for dedicated observations of the solar corona. The heliograph is currently being upgraded. Some of the related details are presented.
