Backend system for the uGMRT

Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation details, as well as initial test results, for the wide-band backend being designed for the upgraded GMRT. This will cater to 400 MHz bandwidth signals from the 30 antennas, and implement a full polar correlator and beamformer.
