Malik2 1Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, J&k, India 2Department of Physics,University of Kashmir,Srinagar-190006, J&K, India Abstract Type : Poster Abstract Category : Instrumentation and Techniques Abstract : The site survey of Gulmarg Kashmir at altitude of about 9000 feet above sea level is based on analysis of meteorological conditions cloud cover, temperature, wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity and atmospheric pressure etc. Analysis and characterization of meteorological conditions suggests that Gulmarg, Kashmir is a potential site for carrying out photometric as well as spectroscopic observations of celestial objects i.e., galaxies, star clusters, gamma ray bursts and particularly study of variable stars etc. |
