Davies Abstract Type : Poster Abstract Category : Sun and the Solar System Abstract : We have performed, for the first time, completely automated detection of CMEs in Heliospheric Imager (HI-1) on board STEREO A. We test its robustness by comparing the derived parameters of CMEs with those listed in the manual catalogs. The method of detection is outlined. Moreover, advantages, disadvantages and future improvements of the algorithm will be presented. |
