Birla Institute of Scientific Research is located at Statue Circle. It's about 11 Km from the Sanganer airport and 2.5 Km from the Jaipur railway station and Sindhi Camp bus stand. The location is also popularly known as Birla Auditorium or, Birla Planetarium.
Hotel Park Prime, Hotel Shikha and Flute Boutique Hotel are very close to it. ASI-2017 participants can walk down from these hotels to the venue. The other two hotels - Hyphen Ujjwal Premier and Royal Orchid Central are closer to the Jaipur railway station/bus stand. The prominent road junction near to these hotels is Khasa Kothi. Pick up and drop in facility to and from the venue has been arranged for the participants staying in these two hotels during March 6-10, 2017.
It is advisable to hire Ola or, Uber cabs from the airport to your hotel. A pre-paid taxi counter is also available at the airport. The same advice is applicable to the participants arriving in Jaipur by rail/road. Additionally, auto-rickshaws are also available aplenty. However, don't be shy to bargain with them for a ride. Auto-rickshaws in Jaipur don't charge by their meters.
Participants travelling by bus from Delhi may get down at Narayan Singh Circle about 1.4 Km from the venue if, they have opted for a stay at Hotel Park Prime/Hotel Shikha/Flute Boutique Hotel.
A popular mobile app Jugnoo is used by local population for reliable and affordable auto rides.
If no direct flight/train is available from your city to Jaipur, you may also opt for a flight/train to Delhi and then avail a 5 hour bus/train ride form Delhi to Jaipur. Luxury coaches run by RSRTC are available from Bikaner House near India Gate in Dehi every half an hour.
