Abstract : We discuss dynamical constraints on the emission region allowed by the stationarity and the bound orbit phase volume in Kerr geometry. We derive conditions with parameters: energy, angular momentum and spin of the black hole for the dynamics on the equatorial plane for both particles and photons. We present analytic expressions for the trajectory, radial and azimuthal frequencies that have general utility in various problems. We apply these formulae to the relativistic precession model and the non-linear resonance model to study the commensurability of the QPO frequencies in black hole binaries (BHBs). We also explain low-frequency QPOs by helical motion in Schwarzschild geometry by including various relativistic effects of gravitational Doppler shift and light bending effects on the emission.
