Research in this area received a big boost due to the availability of a variety of observational data accumulated over the past few years. Further progress is expected soon from a number of different ground-based and space-borne experiments. In this talk, we will review our understanding of the physical processes related to cosmic reionization based on available data and also discuss future prospects. |
