Dewangan Ranjeev Misra Ninan Sajeeth Philip Abstract Type : Oral Abstract Category : Extragalactic Astronomy Abstract : The multi-wavelength studies are of great importance in AGN that emits over a wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum. AstroSat provides the opportunity to observe AGN in the multi-wavelength regime. We have observed the nearby Seyfert Type 1 AGN Mrk 0926 and Mrk 0110 with Astrosat. We study the spectral and temporal properties of the sources using the simultaneous UVIT, SXT and LAXPC data. We have modelled the broadband X-ray spectra as well as the multi-wavelength (UV to X-ray) SEDs of the sources with physical models. We obtained light curves of the sources and found that Mrk 0110 shows short term variability in the soft X-ray band. We also focus on the long term spectral and temporal variability of the objects using the archival data from other missions. |
