Abstract : Supermassive black holes in our galactic centers are likely to contain large massive accretion disk. This disk may exert non negligible hydrodynamic drag on the compact objects rotating around the central black hole. Hence, the gravitational wave signal emitted from an extreme and intermediate mass ratio inspirals may be modified due to the modified motion of orbiting companion by the influence of hydrodynamic drag of the disk. In the present work we investigate this issue using full general relativistic formalism. We wish to estimate precisely the change of the amplitude and frequency of the gravity wave signal due to the effect of the accretion disk and find out the possible error introduced in the estimation of mass of the central black hole.
