Abstract : The environment of galaxies is crucial to their evolution. Small-scale as well as the large-scale environment is known to influence galaxy observables like colours, the rate of formation of stars etc. Recent studies (Mahajan et. al. 2018, Cybulski et. al. 2014) using multi-wavelength data have shown that large-scale filament environment quenches star formation of galaxies residing in them. In this work, we use EAGLE (Evolution and Assembly of GaLaxies in their Environment) cosmological simulation to study properties of galaxies residing in large-scale filament environment. We do a stacked analysis of various mock observations generated from the snapshot at z=0.1. We compare and contrast our results with the observations.
