Abstract : We are carrying out a comprehensive study of spatial distribution of metallicity enrichment in hot gas using an X-ray selected sample. The sample is selected to cover a variety of hot gas environments, including galaxy clusters, groups, and individual galaxies. We aim to study the role of the active galactic nucleus and their radio jets in transporting metallicity into the intracluster medium through the uplift of cool, metal-rich, low entropy gas in these sample objects. Here we would present preliminary results from this study, in particular the relationship between the maximum projected distance of the uplifted gas, also called as the `iron radius' and radio jet power.
