Abstract : It is now believed through a series of observations that the central supermassive black hole (SMBH) has impact on the evolution of their host galaxies and possibly their host dark matter halos. In this talk I shall discuss a comprehensive research program in the interface of theory, simulations and observations to tackle this interesting problem pertaining in galaxy evolution. I shall also emphasize the importance of new observational windows to study the SMBH-large scale structure connection and discuss the possibility of some current and future missions to extract observational constraints on existing and developing models.
