Abstract : I will present the results from high resolution radio observations of active galactic nuclei (AGN) that reside in spiral galaxies. Contrary to our current understanding of these "radio-quiet" AGN, we find that radio jets are nearly ubiquitously present. These jets are often one-sided and appear to influence the surrounding ionized gas by motion or shocks. These jet are more complex than the ones observed in classical "radio-loud" AGN, in terms of morphology as well as spectral indices. I will present radio and emission line results from various radio-quiet AGN samples like the KISSR and the 12 micron sample.
