The satellite will carry seven payloads and is expected to be launched in 2020 by PSLV-XL from Sriharikota. In this presentation I will give an overview on the different payloads, with status update on the mission. National Large Solar Telescope (NLST) is a proposed ground based 2-m class optical and near infra-red (IR) observational facility to be built in the Merak site in Ladakh. I will give an update on the current status of the project and will highlight the importance of coordinated observations from ground and space. |
