Abstract : It is now well established that feedback (via AGN and star formation) controls the observed properties of galaxies. Intracluster medium (ICM) of galaxy clusters is where the details of the feeding of the central engine and its influence on the surrounding gas are observed most easily. I shall present our work on AGN feedback and the associated cooling and heating cycles in the ICM. I shall talk about future directions, and speculate about the implications of our results across halo masses and redshifts.
