Abstract : In recent years, the existence of fullerenes in interstellar and circumstellar medium has been confirmed after the identification of two diffuse interstellar bands (DIBs) with C_{60}^+. These carbonaceous species are stable and possibly widespread in galactic and extragalactic interstellar medium. They may have signatures in the infrared and might contribute significantly to interstellar extinction. Fullerenes are reactive with hydrogen which can cause the formation of hydrogenated fullerenes (fulleranes) in space (Cataldo & Iglesias-Groth 2010a). Here we present the theoretical study of fullerenes and it's hydrogenated derivatives. We present the astrophysical implications for the same.
