Abstract : Star-formation laws plays a significant role in understanding the ecosystem of molecular clouds. Constraining laws of star formation such as star-formation rate (SFR), star-formation efficiency (SFE), and cloud depletion time of molecular clouds need a detailed multiwavelength analysis of a sample of molecular clouds that are part of diverse environments. We have started a program which aims to understand star formation laws in molecular clouds at different locations of the Galactic plane. This work presents a detailed analysis of two such massive star-forming clouds using multiwavelength data sets from various facilities, including the deep, wide-field Subaru-Hyper-Suprime cam. Using these high-resolution data sets, we reveal and characterise the star-formation properties of the individual sub-structures that often seen/found within molecular clouds. We discuss the correlation between local and global star formation laws of molecular clouds and discuss the role of substructures in defining the rate at which the interstellar gas is converting into stars in molecular clouds.
