Abstract : Infrared dust bubbles are the outcome of the interplay between massive stars and the surrounding interstellar medium. In this work, we present a multiwavelength analysis of IR dust bubble S6 to probe the star-formation activity towards this region. This bubble is located at a distance of 2 kpc and associated with the IR source IRAS 17149-3916 (RCW 121). The near-infrared data shows the presence of a cluster. Low-frequency radio observation at 610 and 1300 MHz carried out using Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) is used to probe the associated ionized emission and understand the nature of the radiation mechanism. Herschel far-infrared maps are utilized to investigate the cold dust emission of this region and to generate dust temperature and column density maps which shed light on the dust environment. These maps are used to obtain physical parameters of three dense clumps detected.
