Abstract : The outer solar atmosphere ranges from the photosphere to the corona. The solar transition region is a very narrow region in between the chromosphere and corona. The actual reasons for the sudden rise of temperature from 10^4 to 10^6 K in this very small region is still unknown even though many theories are put forward. The studies on the solar EUV network properties give us an idea about the solar atmosphere dynamics, magnetic flux transfer and solar irradiance. Earlier studies done by the author on the temporal variations of the solar EUV network using the data from the Coronal Diagnostic Spectrometer (CDS) on board the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) reveal the synoptic changes of He I and O V in line intensity, mean contrast, skewness and network index with respect to the sunspot cycle from 1996 to 2006. The negative correlations shown by He I line was unexpected. A study of the EUV network properties such as mean contrast, network index, lengthscale and timescale for He II line using the data from Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) on board Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) is studied in the present paper. The results shall be discussed in the paper.
