Abstract : The International Liquid Mirror Telescope is a 4m class telescope project, in which several institutions from different countries (India, Belgium, Canada, and Poland) are actively involved. The ILMT uses liquid mirror technology, the primary mirror of the telescope is a rotating container with a highly- reflective liquid in it (mercury). The surface of the spinning liquid takes the shapes of a paraboloid. ILMT is installed at Aryabhatta Research Institute of observational sciencES (ARIES), Devasthal campus, Nainital. There was requirement to operate almost everything remotely by computer hence, Development activities has been done to operate roof cover, electrical appliances (lights, Exhaust fans and Air conditioner) by remotely. In house microcontroller boards and status read board etc. have been developed to operate it remotely by computer and we could also get status of each appliances. Computer GUI has been developed to operate mechanical interface between CCD and corrector. This GUI give a command to focus CCD, we could give a command for three different position i.e. focalization, Rotation and line filter and also we could monitor the status of motors and limit switches on GUI. Developed systems have been tested successfully.
