Abstract : A stochastic gravitational wave or also known as stochastic gravitational wave background (SGWB) is formed by a very large no of weak, independent, and unresolved sources. There are always some uncertainties in scientific experiments. No matter how precise we are in carrying out the experiments there will always be some sort of uncertainties. Due to these uncertainties, there will always be some limitations in drawing inferences from the results. We have worked to see the effects of Calibration uncertainties on the detection of stochastic gravitational wave background. We have identified the parameters of the calibration model, which can contribute to the uncertainty while detecting a stochastic gravitational wave signal. The effects due to the uncertainty in these parameters have been calculated on the detection of different types of SGWB signals. Our work mainly is on the SNR and the parameter estimation of the SGWB signals.
