Abstract : The formation of the Science Communication, Public Outreach, and Education (SCOPE) Section at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics allows for planning and implementation over a longer timescale as well as for enlarging the ambit of our activities. IIA has a long tradition of outreach, which has now coalesced into a unified framework. The design of outreach programs have undergone a sea change during the pandemic period, and some of the lessons learnt will inform our activities in the future as well. We will discuss some of our recent outreach projects in this context. A key element in our vision is to help create quality multi-lingual resource material, and we will present some examples. We will also talk about the outreach activities in some of our field stations across the country. In recent times, the communication needs of research institutes have increased substantially, and we will discuss the form these take, and our efforts in this direction as well. IIA is also leading the outreach and education component of the COSMOS project in Mysuru which is building a planetarium in the city, and we will describe some of the work that has been done so far as well.
