Abstract : The upcoming Wide-Area Linear Optical Polarimeter (WALOP)-South instrument represents a pioneering advancement in polarimetry applications. This unique and cutting-edge instrument is the first of its kind. The WALOP assembly consists of substantial, intricate, and thermally sensitive optical components meticulously designed to achieve remarkable polarimetric accuracy of 0.1% and a sensitivity of 0.05% across a vast 35 x 35 arc-minute field of view, all within an exacting tolerance range of 10-20 microns. This paper offers a comprehensive overview of the assembly, integration, and testing procedures, shedding light on the primary objectives and methodologies employed. The integration phase entails the precise alignment of these components to ensure peak functionality and performance.
