Abstract : Massive Astrophysical Compact Halo Objects (MACHOs) are low luminosity objects that may constitute a fraction of dark matter. If they lie close to the line of sight to a compact binary merger, it can lead to gravitational lensing of gravitational waves. Since there has been no evidence of lensing observed in LIGO-Virgo events so far, we can constrain the fraction of dark matter in MACHOs. While constraints on abundance of MACHOs of mass between 10^2-10^5 Msun have previously been obtained using the non-observation of wave optics effects due to lensing, here we put constraints on higher mass MACHOs using the non-observation of strong lensing of GWs.
