Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellowship at IIST supported by the Max Planck Partner Group in Galactic Star Formation. The partner group is headed by Dr. Jagadheep D. Pandian in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy. The fellow will work with the data from the Global View of Star Formation in the Milky Way (GLOSTAR), a blind survey of the Galactic plane with the JVLA in the 4 - 8 GHz band. Complementary data taking and analysis with the GMRT using the new uGMRT system will be required. The fellow will have the opportunity to spend extended periods at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy.
