Dear Colleague,
The fifth biennial conference REcent Trends in the study of Compact Objects: Theory and Observation (RETCO-V), organised by the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore will take place at the Kodaikanal Observatory, Kodaikanal, Tamil Nadu during 03 - 05 April 2023. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from all over India to discuss theoretical and observational progress towards the understanding of accretion disc and jets around compact objects. The topics to be discussed at the conference, include
(i) Astrophysical flows around compact objects, (ii) Active Galactic Nuclei, (iii) X-ray binaries, (iv) Pulsars, and (v) Cataclysmic Variables. The deadline for registration is 10 February 2023.
