Dear BRICS+ colleagues

The BRICS Astronomy Working Group Workshop will be held on 9 - 13 September in Kazan Federal University in Kazan City, Russia, the meeting will also be available in Hybrid format.

This year the science theme of the meeting will be The BRICS Intelligent Telescope and Data Network. The aim is to advance the BRICS Astronomy flagship project. The meeting will bring together the astronomy community including researchers, outreach, education and development practitioners, and policymakers.

This notice is a Call for Abstracts from those wanting to present a contributed talk or poster at the workshop in the following tracks:

  •  Small bodies of the Solar system as transient objects
  •  Transients in astrophysics
  •  Astronomical data
  •  Pipelines for astronomical data in multi-wavelength observations
  •  Science platform for global data network
  •  Astronomical Instrumentation
  •  Outreach, education, and development

Interested persons must submit a title and brief abstract (Maximum 300 Words) on the presentation which the Scientific Organising Committee (SOC) will consider; the closing date for registration and the submission of the abstracts is 12 August. It is anticipated that the final programme will be published by 25 August with authors of successful abstract submissions advised by 19 August.
