What do shadows tell you?

On the Equinox (20 March and 23 September), the sun’s rays fall perpendicular to the Earth’s axis of rotation. On these days, the duration of day and night are (nearly) equal. But, you can also find many other things using observations and calculations. Here are posters in many languages!
