Abstract : We present the evolution of Z-track low mass X-ray Binary neutron star GX 340+0 by using Astrosat onboard instrument LAXPC and SXT. The source moves monotonically from the Horizontal branch to the Flaring branch through the Normal branch in the hardness intensity diagram. We observe the source stay for a short time in HB and the duration around the soft apex is quite long. The timing and spectral properties have been studied in several segments. To understand the spectral parameters, we fitted each segment by using a multi-color disk black-body and thermal comptonization component. We find the spectra at HB is thermal comptonized dominant, where the disk fraction is week, however the motion along flaring branch the disk flux increases. Moreover, we observe the low-frequency QPO features in power density spectra. These characteristics show that the variability in the accretion rate in different branches.
