Abstract : | Membership of star clusters is very crucial in open cluster studies. In an earlier paper, we have used Random Forest and machine learning techniques to determine membership of stars in our sample of nine clusters using Gaia EDR3 data. We apply a Bayesian field star decontamination algorithm in ASteCa and an isochrone fitting process to provide accurate estimates for the clusters’ metallicity, age, extinction, and distance value along with uncertainties. We study the binary fraction of our sample and compare the parameters derived for our sample with varying galactocentric distance, sizes and ages. |
