Abstract : | We study the dynamical evolution of the open cluster Theia 613 using Gaia EDR3 data. A combination of Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) and Random Forest (RF) classifier is used to compute membership probabilities of stars using large, multi-dimensional data sets. We found 3470 stars with membership probabilities greater than 60%. Using these members, the age of the cluster is estimated to be 150 Myr and the total mass to be ~1400 solar mass. We studied the spatial distribution of the members, and found that the cluster has extended structure beyond the tidal radius. We estimate various dynamical time scales in the dynamical evolution of the cluster and construct its orbital path. Finally we discuss the possible role of Galactic potential and disk-shocking on the origin of extended structure and tidal tail observed in the cluster. |
