Abstract : Large-scale concentrations of matter, such as galaxies and galaxy clusters, produce gravitational lensing of light and gravitational waves (GWs) that pass close to them. Strong lensing of GWs offers a unique probe of Cosmology since the time delays between the lensed images will be sensitive to cosmological parameters. The third-generation ground-based GW detectors are expected to detect up to $10^6$ binary black hole mergers per year, out to redshifts of $z \sim 17$. Among these, as many as $10^4$ events could be strongly lensed. We show that such observations can achieve constraints on matter density and Hubble constant that are comparable to other cosmological probes, probing the intermediate redshift regime that is not currently probed by electromagnetic observations.
